Did you make a resolution at the beginning of 2018 to bring more excitement into your life? How about a resolution to have more fun while making a difference? Well if you did or even if you didn't, IHNA is here to help you meet your resolutions.
IHNA is one of the organizers for Over The Edge which will be held on Saturday, August 25. We invite you to join us. It is so simple to participate. Just ask your friends and family to push you over the edge by making a donation to IHNA. Those who raise over $1,000 will be able to rappel off of the SPARC building here in Athens (take a look at the building here: http://athensorthopedicclinic.com/location/sparc/). |
As someone who has participated in Over The Edge, I can tell you there is nothing to be afraid of. It is more dangerous to drive on Milledge Avenue! Still not convinced...take a look at this video which shows you the OTE rappelling experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg4sWV2rjdM&feature=youtu.be.

Ready to Rappel? What now?
It is easy to sign up. Here are the steps:
1. Go to: https://www.overtheedgecwe.com/athens/forms/participant-form/?nonprofitid=2202838 2. Fill out the form and provide payment for the $85 sign up fee (Don't worry this will count toward your $1,000). 3. Create your participant page that you will send to family and friends which will allow them to donate online to IHNA and get you to the $1K mark. Make sure to include a photo and why you are doing this! 4. Spread the word about your participation through emails, letters, social media, etc. and let folks know about the exciting thing you are doing to make a difference. Ask them to support your effort to help kids who are experiencing homelessness. 5. Go over the edge on August 25! |
